About me
I am a licensed professional counselor in the states of Texas and Georgia(USA). I specialize in trauma, mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, addiction, career counseling and ADHD.
I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, state agencies and private practice where I have served young children to older adults. In addition, I am also trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My therapeutic approach involves addressing cognitions related to unworkable thoughts and using somatic based techniques to create successful outcomes.
The primary goals in therapy are to eliminate control strategies, maladaptive behaviors and provide psycho education in order for individuals to create rich meaningful lives and get unstuck from suffering. My passion involves helping women and their families heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths.
