Ramadan Preparation Course
Each day will give an overview of four topic: rules of fasting, Quran chapter reflections, health & mindfulness, and keeping the spirit of Ramadan alive beyond the month.
Course participants can choose to attend either of the two days.

Saturday 10th April 2021
2pm - 3.30pm: 'Rules of Ramadan' by Imam Mohammad Hammad
4pm - 4.45pm: 'Prophetic nutrition & staying healthy' by Zainab Ismail
5pm - 6pm: 'Connecting to the quran and developing your spirituality' by Imam Dr Tarek Elgawhary
6.30pm - 7.15pm: 'Eid and keeping up the spirit after Ramadan' by Imam Ahmed Deeb
Imam Mohammed Hammad was voted the Best Imam in the UK at the 2019 Beacon Mosque Awards. He also works alongside his wife - Ustadha Iffet Rafeeq - on a number of projects including online seminars, and the popular YouTube Channel - DustToDiamonds.
Zainab is the founder of Fit for Allah, which takes on prophetic traditions regarding health, medicine, and food, and melds them with fitness practices. She has over 25 years of experience as a movement specialist, nutrition coach, personal trainer, and national speaker.
Imam Dr.Tarek Elgawhary
Dr. Tarek Elgawhary is a scholar of Islam and comparative religions having studied at both Princeton University and al-Azhar Seminary. He is the creator of the Making Sense of Islam platform where he discusses issues related to Islam and mindfulness.
Growing up amongst a family of scholars Deeb was surrounded by a legacy and tradition of Quranic study. His grandfather, Shaykh Ramadan Deeb, is one of the oldest living scholars in Syria.
After full-time study of the Usul al-Deen in South Africa and graduating with a Masters in Islamic Studies at Bayan Claremont, CA Deeb now serves as the Imam and Religious Director at the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo.
