About Me
I am a mother of three children, two young boys and a girl. I have been a teacher in the education field for 8 years, and I have also served as a child protection and safeguarding lead for a year.
My journey into the world of child development began after the birth of my second child. As a mother, I was eager to find a way to raise my children in a positive and nurturing environment. However, I quickly realized that parenting was not always easy. There were times when I felt lost and unsure of how to handle difficult situations.
I began to observe other mothers and I noticed that many of them were struggling with the same challenges that I was facing. They were losing their patience, yelling at their children, and feeling guilty about their parenting mistakes.
I knew that there had to be a better way. I started by taking courses in positive discipline. I learned about effective communication techniques, respectful parenting methods, and how to discipline children without resorting to punishment.
As I learned more about positive discipline, I realized that it was not just about parenting children. It was also about taking care of myself as a mother. I learned how to manage my stress, set boundaries, and take time for myself.
I became a certified positive discipline educator for both parents and classrooms. I also took a diploma in counseling and behavior adjustment specialist, as well as a diploma in art therapy. I found these studies to be invaluable in my work with both children and mothers.
I help mothers to understand that they are not alone. I provide them with support and guidance as they learn to implement positive discipline techniques in their own lives. I also help them to develop coping mechanisms for dealing with stress and to build strong relationships with their children.
I believe that my education and experience have given me a deep understanding of child development and behavior. I am confident that I can use my skills and knowledge to help children in a variety of ways.
I am a patient, understanding, and compassionate person. I am also a good listener and I am able to build rapport with children of all ages. I am confident that I can create a safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves.
