About Me
Wan Nadia
I was born and raised in Singapore. My whole family went through the secular education journey except my own self who attended the full time madrasah program. No less my father raised the household to be based on the principles of adab as outlined by Professor Naquib al-Attas. My father describes me as a bridge between the secular and traditional worlds, for the Muslims in our community.
I started teaching Quran at age 17 to English-speaking Muslims in my community and regionally. I have been invited to speak and present discourses in various organizations, mosques, and madrasahs both locally and regionally. I am currently managing WANS Education 21 and am also one of the Board of Directors of Al-Zuhri Institution - which is the first Islamic Institute of Higher Learning in Singapore for full-time Islamic studies.
