About Me

Hi, my name is Tasneem, I am a mental health Occupational Therapist and Sensory Intelligence Practitioner. I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, and graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2002. I am currently living in Johannesburg, South Africa with my husband and 4 kids, practicing as an Occupational Therapist and Executive Functioning Coach in private practice.

I strive to be a neurodiversity ally, providing education and awareness, support, therapy, and coaching to adults and teenagers who struggle with executive functioning, and emotional and

sensory regulation, with a special interest in ADHD.

I use a strengths-based, client-centered, and evidence-based approach to therapy and coaching, empowering clients to:

- Develop self-awareness of personal strengths and underlying challenges and implement PRACTICAL TOOLS & STRATEGIES to maximize performance in everyday life

- Understand how you unconsciously respond to the environment to impact how you live, learn and work through ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTATIONS & ACCOMMODATIONS.

- Understand others, be more compassionate, and IMPROVE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS

- Be more resilient, and focused and have more energy to MANAGE YOUR LIFE.

Adult ADHD is real. Adult ADHD can lead to unstable relationships, poor work or school performance, low self-esteem, and other problems. Unfortunately, there is a huge gap in the availability of support, therapy, and/or coaching for adults and teenagers who struggle with executive functioning and emotional and sensory regulation affecting their daily functioning due to underlying ADHD, diagnosed or undiagnosed.
