About Me
From a very young age, Ive been in tuned with my emotions and thoughts. I was and still am intrigued with how powerful our mind can be and how we are blessed with our emotions which also happen to be one of our strengths. When we learn to navigate our lives alongside with our emotions, existence and values, we gain clarity in building a deep connection with ourselves, our core, our soul.
I dedicated my early years of young adulthood into understanding the human behaviour through studying Psychology. Upon completing my degree, my experience with atypical children heightened my interest in understanding behaviour beyond non-verbal cues, beyond what can be communicated. This little pocket of my life gave me insight on the importance of providing a safe space for one to grow and learn, and often time this safe space is simply to be heard. It is when we feel heard, safe, and confident that we are ready to take on any challenges that we may face. I then went on to pursue a Masters in Counselling, where I completed supervised training hours in counselling young adults and working adults in a private counselling centre in Malaysia. I also gave a talk on managing emotions for secondary school students, facilitated webinar discussions and co-facilitated a trauma documentary discussion during my training phase.
I am now a Licensed and Registered Counsellor in Malaysia, actively expanding my knowledge in therapy, dedicated to provide a safe space for you to to explore yourself, weed out any barriers within you and walk alongside with you, at any pace you're comfortable with.
This journey of understanding yourself will be the stepping stone into achieving the things you want and It all starts with you. In hopes of working together to achieve your goals, my main priority will be to ensure your wellbeing is being met throughout this therapeutic relationship.
