About Me
Hi, my name is Shakirat Omobolanle, I am a Certified Trauma Counselor trained in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's) and Early Trauma, Child Protection and the Lead counselor at Reignite Therapy and counseling.
I am also an Executive member of The African Network of Professional Counselors (ANEPCO) and a graduate of Attitude School of Psychotherapy and Counseling (ADICCPN) a top Professional Counseling school in Lagos, Nigeria.
My expertise also include being a NLP Practitioner with certificates from Innocent Minds and a trained certified Emotional Intelligence Specialist with certificates from Emotions City two top training firms in Nigeria. My aim is to bring a warm and collaborative approach to my work and believe that therapeutic change is best facilitated when an individual has a sense of safety and understanding, and I utilize research-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive practices to effectively support my clients mental health and wellness.
Therapy helps individuals process their experiences and develop healthy coping skills to manage the impact of trauma and that is a firm belief I have. I have the skills, experience and tools to help individuals who have experienced one or more forms of trauma to regain back their best selves and live fulfilled lives.
