About Me
Services
I teach Islamic studies programmes for both adults and children. I provide clear learning objectives for learners whilst also applying tried and tested strategies for learning within my teaching. My courses are structured with each unit/lesson following an outlined programme timetable (see example of course information below).
My specialist service is that I also teach Islamic studies to Muslim children with Specialist Learning Difficulties
I conduct Muslim marriage ceremonies - ( عقد زواج و النكاح). Often, I have also delivered such ceremonies for reverts whilst accommodating within my talk for their families in attendance.
I deliver Eid and Jumuah Khutbah in a manner that appeals to and is made relevant for younger audiences.
I convey Islamic talks and reminders online and in community centres/Masaajid that can be both subject specific and also relate, where relevant, to the the Hijri calendar. At the time of writing, I have just delivered guidance on how to spend Dhu al-Hijjah. This advice was made on behalf of the Muslim Council of Britain for their Islam 101 users.
I am responsible for answering the Islam 101 queries made to the relevant Muslim Council of Britain. These queries, for the most part, are made by non-Muslim audiences.

Progress learners from instructional reading to an independent reading of the Quran.
Build the Arabic language literacy skills of learners through shared reading, games (for children), and activities.
Model for learners the correct pronunciation of the letters of the Arabic alphabet so that they may attain greater precision within their recitation as opposed to making approximate sounds.
Introduce to learners the correct makhaarij al-Hurrof (place from which the sound of each Arabic letter originates) and sifaat al-Huroof (the factor that differentiates two letters which have the same makhraj from each other) of each letter within the Arabic alphabet.
