About Me
Assalamualaikum wr wb. I am Fauziah, a proud mum of 4 grown-up children, and currently resides in Singapore. I love nature and enjoy organizing and participating in Birth Walks and Mummy Healing Circles for both expectant and young mums.
Despite leaving the teaching profession 30 years ago to raise my children, I have not stopped teaching at all. Since then, I have been teaching Mathematics and Science from home and in tuition centers to primary school children. With self-development in mind, I took up massage courses to support my students mums and my own relatives. Through the interactions I had with my clients, I realized how crucial support is throughout parenthood - from pregnancy to labor and to early parenthood. This made me decide to venture into the world of birth support and consequently, I have been a doula for 9 years now and have supported over 400 births. All unique and all beautiful - alhamdulillah.
In 2010, I learnt hypnosis and later became a hypo-birthing instructor. I was constantly upgrading myself with skills and knowledge that would enable me to support my mums better. After receiving my degree in Natural Health in 2011 from Clayton College, I went on to do my Masters in Human Nutrition which was awarded by Deakin University in 2015. During that time, I was taking up other complementary courses all with the aim to support and connect with my mums in their journey into motherhood.

In 2019, after my pilgrimage, I recreated my childbirth classes to integrate Islamic perspectives in preparation for birth and hypo-birthing aspects of achieving a calm instinctive birth. These classes are mainly private - live and online. Part of the proceeds from my services and classes go to beneficiaries (orphans, refugees and low income families) that I am involved in through my social work. Additionally, I conduct Healing Mummy Circles as a means to reach out to mums who are not able to afford basic childbirth education classes and for creating a 'village' to address the common issues faced by the new-age parents.
My lifelong passion is to support families through the collective integration of my skills and knowledge focused on educating and inspiring families as a whole from pregnancy to early parenthood. My classes and services are faith-based and integrate Islamic practices with the aim of being the catalyst for these families to achieve a Barakah parenthood. I am constantly seeking blessings from Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet PBUH in my work which brings me joy, fulfilment and a sense of gratitude.
