I am an Alima, who according to many work wonders with little Muslims. I am the founder of Noon Institution. Alhamdulillah we have adverse range of classes among all my most favorite is to teach children about the stories of the prophets based on authentic sources.
A beautifully structured course that has only become better with each batch and well received from parents, for the age group of 6 to 10 years. InshaAllah we will start with lessons about our Allah, Books, Angels, Jannah and then it will be a detailed story telling of the important 24 Prophets and a handful of other prophets who are not mentioned by name in the Quran with small notes and fun drawing for each prophet. We will also become familiar with the dua of each prophet, which are found in the Quran. The facts for these classes will be mainly derived from the famous book by Imam Ibn kathir- stories of the prophets قصص النبيين. It is alhamdulillah an interesting session where children will travel through the times of the prophets, their knowledge, Iman, happiness and hardship. InshaAllah will show ruins and places where the prophets resided. We will also look into maps and memorise basic duas of the prophets inshaAllah.
I truly wish every child gets an opportunity here at noon or in any other madrasa to participate in a prophet story session. During these sessions we stumble upon problems that children face in this era, jealousy, ungratefulness, bullying, abuse and we do very slightly touch on LGBTQ (pride) when we study Lut alai, about kidnapping etc when we come to Yusuf alai and few other sensitive issues. Rest assured these will not alarm a child and dealing with children in the past 2 decades I realize that many children are already aware of these topics.
