About Me

I am a family nurse practitioner specializing in functional medicine and obesity medicine. I am the owner and director of Sheba e-Health & Functional Medicine, an electronic clinic that specialized in weight loss, root-cause medicine and optimizing nutrition. As a practitioner of functional medicine, I believe that wellness is more than absence of disease; it’s rather a state of harmony and balance of spiritual/emotional, mental, and physical aspects. Although pharmaceutical therapy which I utilize is important and beneficial, I also point patients towards strengthening the foundational aspects of health -one of the main pillars being good nutrition. I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, my Master of Science from South University, and a Master Degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University. My healthcare experience has been in health advocacy/nonprofit work, while as a nurse practitioner I have experience in family medicine, and neurology. Services: Medical weight loss including prescription medications when necessary such as semaglutide and others. Functional Medicine services: Advanced functional test to assess GI health such as food sensitivity or stool test. Detailed review of symptoms and interpretation of labs. Nutrition plan based on test results. Supplement recommendations Lifestyle recommendations Sheba's philosophy is to provide body positive inclusive weight loss care, and integrative health education to all communities. I at Sheba e-Health emphasise whole food nutrition and preventive (rather than disease-focused) medicine. I provide care to all, and hope to reach communities who may not always have access to the latest medications or accessible care to qualified providers. By providing a HIPAA compliant telemedicine platform, I aim to reach clients in their homes, providing accessible services discreetly, and efficiently. Visits are available in evening and on weekends, with transparent pricing plans to conveniently fit your schedule and budget.
