I am a clinical psychologist (MS Clinical Psychology, BS Psychology). I also am an author of a self help book (Reflections From Life: A Muslim's Guide To Inspiration) based on positive psychology. I blog about self-developmental topics and mental health related articles on my blog and have published articles on Muslimah Bloggers and BabyGaga.

I am also the founder of Childcare Mentoring, an online learning platform for parents and teachers. I also conduct training sessions for teachers, parents and children.

My experience:

Currently I am practicing as a Child Psychologist at Faiza Aslam Consultant Clinic. I also conduct online sessions with parents, young adults and teenagers.

I have worked as a remedial teacher in Delsol – The School. I have also worked as an ABA Therapist at Darul Sakun and Kashan-o-Alatfal and completed my internship at Karachi Psychiatric Hospital. Moreover, I have worked for a few months as a montessori assistant teacher in Prestige Academy and conducted training sessions for teacher of Zindagi Trust, Taqwa Model School and healthcare professionals at Darul Sakun. I have also conducted group counselling sessions for children at Sirat ul Jannah and Shed Foundation. I have participated in the Hopes Health Expo to conduct assessments and have conducted assessments in several mental health camps.

I have expertise working with young adults, teenagers, children, parents and teachers. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD and autism. I provide relationship counselling, parental counselling, counselling to women, teenagers and young adults for day to day mental health issues. I provide group sessions and awareness sessions as well to women, teenagers, young adults and children. I have expertise in designing plans for children for overcoming concentration, anger, hyperactivity and low self-esteem issues. I also provide psycho-education to parents and teachers for better handling of children.
