About Me
I am a dedicated mental health professional with over 12 years of experience in the field of psychology. I currently work with the NHS, providing mental health support to service users. My academic background includes a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Clinical Psychology. I am also currently pursuing a second MSc in Person-Centred and Experiential Psychotherapy (part-time), further deepening my therapeutic approach.
I am a licensed psychologist registered in the Maldives and trained in trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR. My clinical experience spans a wide range of issues, including depression, PTSD (both childhood and recent trauma), anxiety-related disorders, and complex grief.
I work with both teenagers and adults, offering psychological coaching, counselling, and psychotherapy. I have a particular focus on supporting clients who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, marital conflict or affairs, divorce, and bereavement. My approach is compassionate, person-centred, and tailored to meet each individuals unique needs.
