Before meeting with Zeenah, I used to be weak when it comes to speaking my pains or hurts I used to avoid people, and turn away from them instead of being assertive To avoid any misunderstanding, I resulted to being a peace maker The one who would go to any length to seek for peace. The one who would allow people to step on her, have their way, and get away with it The one who have little or no courage to express her feelings and convictions The one who is easily intimidated by the ego strength of others. This is who I used to be, before Until I began the journey of self awareness with Zeenah The journey of knowing myself and becoming better And, as I delve deeper and brought it to the surface with her guidance I realised there were a lot of factors surrounding it. But, that isn’t what matters most. What matter most is what I am going to do about it. Now, I am getting better and better that, even those who know me for who I used to be, now testify to the level my growth, and the changes it brought I am now assertive, I now have the audacity to create and speak my boundaries Alhamdulilah. If you are this kind of person too, I want you to know that, you are not fixed I want you to know that you can change Because, It’s time you start standing up for yourself It’s time to start expressing yourself when need be except you know it doesn’t worth it! It’s time you start confronting anything that would make you bury your emotions or make you live in pain, anguish and rage for life! It’s time you stop suppressing your emotions and be courageous to stand up for yourself! Because you can change. You can grow. And there’s room for improvement And there’s no shame in admitting and acknowledging that, it’s who you are.
