I don’t even know where to begin and how to thank you
Thank you soooo soooo much for guiding, supporting and being there for me throughout my whole pregnancy, birth and postpartum with my second baby
I had such a different experience then I did with my first and I’m so grateful to have found and has you as my doula
I’m still in awe how much I learnt (even though I wasn’t a first time mum), how I was able to have a home birth unmedicated and how fast, natural and all in the right time things happened without my midwife there but I wasn’t worried at all because of the knowledge I had and ofcourse you being there for it and knowing exactly what to do

15 August 2023 at 9:16 pmFirst time pregnancy, first time mum to be I knew in my heart I really wanted a all natural drug free birth. When I came across sumayyah giddins and finding out her experience I knew I had to go ahead and have her by my side as my support and doula!
She was very supportive of what I wanted as my birth, she was so considerate of making me as comfortable as possible and the best part even after a year if I was to ask her a question about my birth ie chord clamping she still remembered !!
I had a very lengthy labouring period, by the time I had to bring my baby earth side I thought I really didn’t have the energy to make it through. Sumayyah sat right beside me and I remember telling her sumayyah I can’t do this anymore and just her simple words and reminding me of Allah swt she said “this is the part where you think your not going to make it but Allah helps you through”
Honestly it worked a charm! She really followed my cues on how I needed her to support me . Through my contractions I just needed to be left alone and she respected that. She wasn’t pushy she analysed the situation and was able to read exactly what I needed / wanted even without realising what I needed at the time

She was able to help me transform from being a nervous wreck, who was scared to death of my expectant birth, to a strong, confident, and well informed person, who was actually excited about my birth.
Her support and care are unmatched and her heart and soul are one of a kind!
