About Me
My name is Samia Tourabi Lazaar, I am a certified Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist, graduated from the University of Paris Lumières. I was born and raised in France and my parents are from Morocco. In my twenties, I spent several months in the USA and in the UK, which gave me the opportunity to learn English. Therefore, I speak French as my mother tongue, but also Moroccan dialect and of course English.
Becoming a Psychologist has always been a dream and a vocation, and I feel so grateful for being able to help woman to feel better in their minds and achieve their potential. I specialized in treating women who suffer from various psychological disorders like anxiety, depression or personality disorders, but also difficulties like low self-esteem, emotional instability and harassment.
I am also very passionate about helping women who have suffered or are currently suffering for domestic abuse or any type of violence (psychological, physical, sexual).
As a Muslim woman, I am willing to integrate the Islamic faith and values into Psychotherapy and, at the same time, as a Psychologist, I have always had a great interest in providing to my patients a safe and non-judgmental space so they may be able to confess and talk about everything and anything.
My approach is always patient-centered and holistic, I adapt my techniques and posture to your personality and preferences to make you feel at ease and heard as much as possible.
My responsibilities as a Mental Health Professional include the administration, if necessary, of tests and scale to evaluate mental disorders, but mostly talk about your thoughts, feelings, behaviors and the events in your life that made you who you are, only if you are willing to of course.
