Safiya Brey

I grew up in Canada for most of my life, however, have moved back to South Africa which is my birth country. I have survived cancer 3 x and understand the emotional and physical challenges of it while leading somewhat of a normal life and continuing my job in the corporate sector and being married with a child. It has not only deepened my spiritual faith in Allah and Islam but also helped me create a mindset that has allowed me sabr (much patience and perseverance). I would like to help others who find themselves in a challenging situation (namely an illness) or mindset challenges to overcome their strife and enable them to lead prosperous and positive lives within the tenets of our beautiful religion.
