This covers the various fields of stories from Islam, be it of the prophets, of the companions and others. The orientation of the stories are based on the virtues that Muslims can apply in their daily life and harness them as inspirations.
- Qasidah/Nasheeds
These sessions are both in terms of conducting them and also teaching, and likewise leading gatherings that involve qasidahs such as mawlids. At this point for percussions, it can be done but it would be mean inviting the percussionists to join in.
- Calligraphy Classes
Better known as basic khat and to not be misunderstood as a lesson in training towards being what most people call a calligrapher. However this is one of the basic steps towards that art.
Each session, as is often the case, will involve a combination of the above. This is subject to discussion with the student(s). For example, a class on the Qur'an, will have a combination reflection, listening and a section of the Hadith and stories.
Per session may be within 1 hour to 2.5 hours, depending on the ability of the student(s) and whether it takes place in-person or online. Depending on which class, it may involve print-outs and stationary requirements.
