Janan Sarwar

Janan is a dynamic Muslim publishing professional and the founder of the company Global Bookshelves International, an independent publishing house focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in content and voices from around the world. As a pharmacist for over 9 years, she has the organized and analytical skills required to manage assisting multiple individuals with their detailed book projects. Her pharmacy career was spent in book publishing for a nonprofit association, where she was involved in all stages of publishing for over 30 books. She actively serves as a medical content writer, pharmacy career coach, and Chief Content Officer of a coaching company, The Happy PharmD. She is passionate about DEI, speaking, writing, and connecting with others on these topics, and believes it is important for Muslim storytellers to share their stories with the world.
