I am passionate about advocacy for children, young people, and other minorities. When like-minded individuals work together to achieve a common goal, such as advocating for children, it can make a positive difference in people's lives. My ability to assess, interpret and understand a situation involving at risk of vulnerable children is my key strength. It is this ability to hone into the core issues and provide support, understanding, and develop a plan to help guide a young person to fulfil their own journey, this is what sets me apart.
Having completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Counselling) at the University of Waikato in New Zealand.
My PhD thesis investigates the processes and consequences of speaking up and breaking the silence surrounding child sexual abuse in conservative societies. It explores how the victim's experiences of speaking up are affected by their particular sociocultural context. I also hold a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (Learning and Development) and, a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Education.
I can guarantee my clients that I am a good listener, that I am here to support them on their parenting journey with the humble knowledge and proficiency that I have earned over the past years of study and working experience. Particularly, Understanding Childhood Trauma, Child Protection and Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Abuse.
In addition, there are many successful stories of children that I witnessed in their progress and development after I offered my pieces of advice and recommendations to the parents and worked alongside them to help their children through difficult times and bring their best. Consequently, receiving inquiries from families across the world with diverse ethnicities, allowed me to provide simplicity and clarity in my work and the services that I offered to the families.
