Fatimah Badawy

I completed an MA degree in counselling psychology with 2+ years of supervised training. I have been seeing clients for about 3 years now. I earned the award for exceptional accomplishment from my university with highest achievement. I published my thesis studying the implication of a tobacco free campus policy at my university. I am also a certified Quran and tajweed teacher and have completed its memorization and been teaching it for over 5 years.

I offer counselling services (therapy sessions) that use Islamic underpinnings to guide the sessions if that is what the client needs. I also use a humanitarian approach merging person centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. I may also offer Quran lessons to non Arabic speakers along with tajweed lessons.

Because as a native Arabic speaker raised abroad amongst American/English speakers, I may offer beneficial lessons and insight for those who need help
