Dr Amirah Shah

I am a born Muslim Psychotherapist and Counsellor, who have had experience growing up in various countries and am well versed in matters of intercultural and interfaith struggles prevalent to the Muslim society. A lot of my study included comparative religion and how religion provides psychotechnologies towards managing mental health.

I also have a cultural and spiritual lens towards my grief and trauma work, and delve into meaning making and existential exploration. I work with individuals, couples and families to help navigate cultural and religious differences and arrive their authentic selves. I also provide supervision for counsellors.
