About Us
I provide religious and spiritual support through classes, religious ceremonies, khutbahs, halaqahs, couseling sessions, community service and much more.
I was born and raised in New York City where I studied Qur'an, tajweed and other disciplines with local scholars. Alongside secular studies in Anthropology, I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University where I am studying Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, Usool-Fiqh and other sciences.
Noticing a need for young, English speaking Khateebs, my teachers advised me to begin delivering Khutbahs and Halaqahs at the age of 17. I have worked with various Islamic organizations such as Young Muslims, Islamic Circle of North America, Park51, Islamic Relief and other community service based organizations where I provided religious and spiritual support as well as volunteering my time for the community.
I have also served as the president of my College's Muslim Student Association for a number of years where I gained valuable experience in creating programming and organizing religious and communal events.
I currently reside in New Jersey where I serve the local community and have started an organization, Al-Buraq, which strives to facilitate growth within the community through knowledge, companionship and service towards the community.
