I am a highly specialist senior psychotherapist and clinical specialist for the treatment of complex trauma and obsessional disorders.

I am trained at the Master level in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and have had extensive treatment in delivering CBT, and its third-wave approaches. I'm further trained in EMDR.
My work experience spans working in the UK's publicly-funded National Health Service (NHS) as well as the private sector.
I'm now focusing on incorporating more faith-based components in my work to tailor therapy to Muslim client's needs. Currently, I am training in Masnavi Therapy (Rumi-based approach). I have had extensive training and experience in treating a wide range of mental health difficulties. I tailor treatment to client needs, and being of Muslim background I understand that our client group will have needs that differ from a mainstream Western approach to therapy.

I offer online Zoom (or other digital platform) sessions to clients across the globe.
The therapies I offer include:

• Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
•  Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for clients that present with obsessional or related disorders (e.g. OCD, BDD, emetophobia, health anxiety) or complex trauma symptoms (e.g. PTSD, cPTSD, dissociation) etc.
